|Field of Study||:||Studentships are awarded in the field of Al-alloys for automotive applications. The successful candidate will join a team working on the development of ultra-high performance 6xxx aluminum alloys for automotive applications. He/she will focus on one of the following topics based on their experience and interest:

Eligibility for BCAST PhD Studentship:
- The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:
Applicants are required to have an upper second or first class undergraduate honors degree (or a recognized equivalent from an overseas university) in metallurgy/materials science or another related engineering or physical science. A Masters level qualification is desirable. In addition, the successful candidate should be highly motivated, able to work within a team and have good communication skills. The successful candidates are expected to commence at the latest in October 2017.
